Class of 2025: Celebrating Outstanding Achievements
The Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria (DSP) is proud to celebrate the achievements of the 2025 graduates. Once again, the school delivered a 100% pass rate in the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) National Senior Certificate (IEB NSC), maintaining its long-standing record of academic excellence. A total of 50 students completed their final school examinations, following either the IEB NSC pathway or the concurrent IEB NSC/German International Abitur (Kombi-Abitur) pathway.
IEB National Senior Certificate (IEB NSC)
Thirty-five graduates completed the IEB NSC examinations, achieving the following outcomes:
34 graduates qualified for Bachelor degree admission
1 graduate achieved a Diploma Pass
62 subject distinctions
Average of 1.7 distinctions per graduate
All graduates in this pathway are eligible for tertiary study, with the majority qualifying for direct entry into Bachelor degree programmes.
IEB NSC / German International Abitur (Kombi-Abitur)
Fifteen graduates completed the Kombi-Abitur, achieving excellent results alongside the IEB NSC. Their academic achievements include:

Average Abitur score: 2.3
The German International Abitur is an internationally recognised university entrance qualification, rooted in the German education model. It emphasises subject specialisation, independent learning, and analytical thinking, preparing students for academic challenges at a global level.

Once again, DSP graduates have demonstrated consistent effort and outstanding academic performance, reflecting the high standards the school maintains year after year.
