In our Crèche (from 3 months) and in our Kindergarten, children are holistically supported in their development by qualified educators.
In our Crèche, we offer each child the opportunity to optimally develop at his or her individual pace. We place great value on independence for the older children and freedom of movement for the younger ones. We provide a loving, supportive and stimulating environment in which each child can develop their skills to the best of their ability.

For our youngest children (4–18 months), the focus is on motor development milestones. Soft mats for safe movement and climbing opportunities enable crawling and walking. Foundations for language development are laid by singing together and looking at picture books. In the morning circle, our little ones also learn animal sounds and the naming of body parts. First attempts with a paintbrush give them great pleasure and promote fine motor development.
A selection of age-appropriate toys stimulates cognitive as well as fine and gross motor development.
Our one- to two-year-olds take great pleasure in singing together. Songs with rhythmic movements promote body coordination and language skills. Joint activities such as playing with plasticine, painting and looking at picture books promote not only fine and gross motor skills, language development but also social behaviour.
For the two- to three-year-olds, the preparation for Kindergarten begins. The morning circle is structured and besides singing together, they already learn colours, shapes and counting. Painting and handicraft activities are offered daily and reading aloud is also on the programme.
Each of our classrooms is set up for the special needs of the respective age group. In the classroom, the children experience a loving, secure environment with numerous opportunities for development.

Our weekly plan offers parents insight into the educational work of the Kindergarten. Within the framework of our concept, we offer age-appropriate and targeted educational activities. In the morning circle, language is strengthened through daily singing, learning verses and poems and a discussion on the current topic. Daily circle games encourage social behaviour and train concentration. After the morning circle, a theme-related painting and craft activity is offered.
The children's creativity and fine motor skills are challenged here. The group time is concluded with a story. We follow the German and the South African model of education. The focus of the German model is on independent action and thinking. The children are encouraged to make their own decisions and to always act democratically. Social behaviour also has an important role and acting with consideration for others is of great importance.
The South African model of education focuses strongly on detail-oriented learning. The teachers ensure that daily learning activities such as cutting, painting, singing, number games and conversations give each child the opportunity to develop in all areas according to their age.
The group activities include a weekly music, sport and library lesson. We offer our children a wide range of movement, art, science and music activities. In this way, everyone has the opportunity to discover and expand their particular area of interest.
About the indoor environment
In the Kindergarten, the classrooms provide a stimulating learning environment in a protected and caring atmosphere.
With their spaciousness and child-friendly, versatile furnishings, our classrooms invite children to play and learn. In our classrooms, we read, do handicrafts, play and sing, among other things.
The outdoor area
We spend a significant part of the day outdoors, on our extensive playground. Our outdoor area is equipped with numerous climbing frames and offers the children sufficient opportunities to strengthen their gross motor skills and to move freely. The tactile experience in the sandpit, combined with creative and social play, greatly enhances our children's development
The German language as an opportunity for the future
With a clear orientation towards the German language, we want to offer our children the best possible future. Whether already speaking German or speaking another language – we welcome all children and offer individual language support. In this way, every child has the chance to use his or her German skills in the best possible way for the future.

Settling In
In the Crèche and in the Kindergarten, we follow the Berlin Settling-in Model during the initial period. In a phased approach, the child slowly gets used to the new environment and the new caregivers. In the initial phase, the parents accompany the child to provide emotional support and in the final phases, the parents increasingly withdraw. After successful familiarisation, the child has formed a bond with the caregivers and can integrate into everyday life.
